Once again we are pleased to announce that we will be attending the Giro d’italia for the 2026 edition in the Prosecco Wine Region. The Giro will be finishing in Pieve Di Soligo on 28/5/2026 and departing on 29/5/2026. We received an email from a hotel we use on a regular basis and a text message from one of my relates ! – giving us a jump on everybody else from the UK !
I am familiar with the town and local area as most of my relatives live there and I have ridden many miles through the Vineyards , as recent as September 2025 when I rode the GF Prosecco. Pieve is in located in the heart of the Prosecco Wine Region and has many great routes to ride enabling you to take in the fantastic views over the Vineyards.
Well known climbs used in past editions of the Giro are Passo San Boldo , Cal del Poggio and the ladies Giro in 2025 finished at the top of the Monte Cesan. At present we do not know the exact route to arrive in Pieve but what we do know is that it will be great trip bringing together the Prosecco Wine and the Giro , plus the Pinarello shop is only about an hour cycle ride away.
