All bookings made as of January 2018 will have the following terms and conditions applied and these are part of our standard terms and conditions.
We have updated our Terms and Conditions as off 13/1/2019
For a trip to go ahead a minimum of 10 bookings must be achieved. We have the right to cancel a trip in the unlikely event that this number is not achieved. In the event of a trip cancellation we will refund any payments made to us. Our decision will be made 12 weeks before the departure date.
Please note we do not refund any other costs, such as flights.
Any payment NOT made by its due date, whether an interim payment or the final balance could result in your booking being cancelled with NO refund of any previous monies paid.
If you are late with an interim payment the current FULL balance must be paid within 14 days of the interim payment due date or your booking will be cancelled.
If you are late with your final payment your booking could be cancelled.
Late payment will incur a £25 additional charge for every or any part of a period of every seven days after the due date. This will be added to your current statement/invoice.
We do not like imposing these terms. However, we not only have considerable advance commitments to hotels and other associated travel and admin costs, but also always have a client reserve list of cyclists wanting to get on a tour, and we need to fulfil their requests as quickly as possible.
This section was updated on 13/1/2019
Once a trip/holiday or bike transport has been booked, you have 28 days from the date of that booking to cancel and get a full refund. If you make an interim payment prior to the due balance and then cancel , ALL payments made will be lost providing you are over 28 days from the initial booking date.
A cancellation can only be accepted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any other communication will not be accepted. In addition to your cancellation please include the full name(s) of the participants.
If you are sharing a room and the person you are sharing with drops out you will then be charged single room occupancy fee unless you or European Cycle Events can find a replacement. We will always do our best to find a replacement (of the same sex) but in the event we cannot, or you cannot, then single room occupancy rate will apply. Notwithstanding the above, and if you have not paid for single room occupancy, then you will be sharing your room and your ‘room-mate’ will be allocated on arrival at your hotel.
