By comparing your ‘Early’ performance to your ‘Late’ performance must be the litmus test of your end-of-season fitness.
Cycling Weekly gave the Spring Onion 7/10 for toughness, which is no surprise on a course in the Surrey Hills which will have you climbing 4,500 feet in just over 65 miles on the Sunday.
Combine that with the Compact 50 on Saturday and your weekend riding will put 9,500 feet of ascent into your climbing legs and 120 miles towards your STRAVA kudos.
Of course, you do not have to do both. You choose.
