In its 9th edition this classically Italian Gran Fondo was named after Vincenzo Nibali, aka ‘The Shark’ and will take you from Gabicce Monte (named the City of Cycling) with breath-taking views of the Adriatic Riviera of Romagna and Marche and through the Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo.
This event has a field of circa 3000 riders and is one of Italys top 5 hidden secret gems of a Gran Fondo , which I have have personally ridden. It has a great feeling about it and with two distances for the road event , for the Gravel event.
Our Hotel is 500 meters from the sign on and event start , with a fantastic Expo. Our hotel has a swimming pool and is 100 meters from the beach,shops. bars , coffee shops and restaurants a location to keep you occupied on and off the bike.
Hotel Senior is a great three star family run hotel off which I am a personal friend of the owner and can honestly say they definitely look after their customers.

- Short route – 84 kms – 1,250m ascent – Road
- Long route – 136 kms – 2,400m ascent – Road
- Short Route – 50km – 770m elevation – Gravel
- Long Route – 105km – 2250m elevation – Gravel
All events set out from the Aquarium in Cattolica.

We will be staying in a good friend of mines hotel at Hotel Senior in the heart of Cattolica 500 meters from the start and sign on.

PLUS – £tbc per bike for safe and secure bike transportation to and from the UK, direct to your hotel (subject to 10 bike transport bookings)

- Plus £tbc for out and back bike transportation if required and available (15 people minimum)

Fly into Bologna airport
Outbound – The coach will leave Bologna Airport – 12:00 midday
Return – The coach will leave the Hotel @ 11:00

- Date of birth
- Medical Certificate, date to be current with this event
