Our new addition to 2024 , we have spoken to many of our customers over the last 12 months asking how far could you ride comfortably without needing a feed station , there were some interesting answers , nevertheless the average we came out with was 50. So we have created the Cobham Sportive (aka No Feed 50). Our route will roll out from our base in Cobham, taking on a number of climbs , starting with Chalk Lane before we drop down Coombe Lane. We will then travel around the back of Shere , heading towards Ewhurt, before winding round to take on Barhatch Lane. Then the course will have a small loop re joining BarHatch Lane at the base and retracing to climb back up through Ewhurst. At this stage you would have ascended 4 significant climbs stating to make your return to the start. Riders will then eventually head towards and through Holmbury St Mary and seek out a left to take on Tanhurst Lane, eventually connecting via a sharp left on to Leith Hill. From here it’s relatively easy for your homeward bound journey, this sums up the Cobham Sportive (aka No Feed 50). The GPS file will be coming soon on Strava with a link.
Upon your return to Cobham you will be greeted by the Finish Line , but more importantly hot food served up by our lovely ladies , who always put on great food @ our two Sportives.

Each Sportive is designed for riders to be self-sufficient on a pre-planned route which is clearly marked by arrows on the tarmac.
Our Sportives are NOT races. We do provide electronic timing chips for our Sportives, but these are purely for an individual rider to measure their own performance.
In the event that we have to cancel a Sportive, we will give as much notice as possible and give those who have entered the following options: full refund; roll-over to the new event date; roll-over to the evet in the following year; move your entry value £s onto another European Cycle Events event.
