It was 20th May at 5 o’clock in the morning and there were just 17 pioneers at that adventure. The start? It was at the historic location of Bar del Corso, the ancient base of the association. That is where the story begins and became the oldest Gran Fondo in Italy – if not the world ! It’s been a while since we attended the Nove Colli and long time over due, so come and join us , the Nove Colli set the bar for Gran Fondo’s around the world.
The Nove Colli trip is quite special , it not only caters for the cyclist but has daily excursions for partners , in addition this is a beach front hotel with a stunning swimming pool so partners can relax . The hotel has a Wellness centre and a gym and caters for EVERYBODY , a good reason not to leave your partner at home.
There are 5 group riders for all levels to different destinations each day so there a big variety to chose from. If you don’t wish to bring your bike we can organise bike hire Pinarello Dogma or Prince or the F5.
In 2027 the event will be in its 56th edition so that’s a good enough reason to join us. There are two distances to choose from, 205km max (3265m) , 130km max (1827m) both are challenging and will step up your limits in cycling. There’s also a gravel course available , full details are below.

Pinarello Bike Hire options
We can organise bike hire for you should you wish not to bring your bike, below are the prices and bike options , all Pinarello.
Although we are on a 4 day trip our suggestion is to pay for bike hire from day two as day one is arrival and unpack etc.

If you opt for bike hire I would suggest you bring your own pedals as they have worn well with your shoes

Deposit for bike hire is £125.00 and the balance on/by 6/4/2026
Flights and Airport
Please ensure you are through passport control by 11:00 am – as the coach leaves at – 11:30 am – Bologna Airport
On return the coach leaves the hotel at 3pm > Bologna Airport
We suggest Brtish Airways
If you require separate transfers we can arrange but it will be an extra cost
