Gran Fondo Pinarello 2023 – Cancelled

This event has been cancelled after the change of direction of competitive Gran Fondo’s by the Pinarello Family

The Gran Fondo Pinarello is a fantastic and exciting event , which is now in its 26th edition. It runs in and out of the wonderful city of  Treviso and heads into the Dolomites. Treviso is home to  Prosecco wine and of course the world famous and dominating cycle brand Pinarello. Having ridden this event 6 times I can honestly say it’s magical without a shadow of a doubt.

The town and surrounding areas are swamped by cyclists from around the world all enjoying this established event. Come and join us, we are familiar with the area as my family live there so you will be in good hands.

There are two distances circa 115km and 160km but this varies as they tweek the route annually. The shorter course takes you into the lower hills just north of Treviso where you will ride through the stunning Prosecco vineyard region. This course has a few Cat’ 3 hills and will challenge the average rider plus the Cal de Poggio at short very hard climb with 18% in it. The longer route takes you up and over the Treviso Alps and returns you via the Monte Grappa massif. This route is circa 160km long and the mountain crossings are Category 1 climbs. This route is a hard challenge and for the experienced, well trained cyclist.

We are based at a 4 star hotel 1.5km from the centre of Treviso which is ideal to discover the city when not on your bike as well as the start/finish and sign on for the event.
